I then worked at mostly private owned hotels and lodges in Gauteng as well as overseas.
The food bug officially caught me in 2008 at a lodge in Sabi Sands Game reserve and followed me with my career to Summer Place Venue Hyde Park, CafedelaNina (my own restaurant) and then in 2016 I went on my own. After a few years of catering and home cooked meals I was asked to take on a canteen by a friend and client who had grown his business. Offering his staff daily food, snacks and beverages as well as staff lunches and functions.
Caterdeli (Pty) Ltd has grown and the increase in enquiries for private and corporate catering has given me the opportunity to expand.
My passion is to be able to take away that stress of shopping, preparing, cooking and cleaning away from clients so that they can enjoy their event and their guests. I am inspired by everyday grandmother’s recipes, and I want to elevate it.
